The Norwegian Local Radio Association’s national conference is the largest and most important meeting place for local radio in Norway. During these events the local radio industry meets for a joint gathering, where the current situation, trends and future of the radio market are discussed. As always, our sponsor partners and exhibitors are an important and natural part of the gathering.
Being an exhibitor at our conferences is an opportunity for direct dialogue with decision-makers who may be looking for products and services that your business supplies Here you meet dedicated professionals from the entire local radio industry. In total, the conference has 13 exhibitors and 8 other sponsor partners. All available exhibitor boots have been sold this year.
If you are visiting and depend on flying, the easiest and fastest method is to travel by plane to Gardermoen and then on by train from Gardermoen to Lysaker station, which is a few stops past Oslo on the way south. The journey from Gardermoen to Lysaker takes just over 40 minutes.
From Lysaker you can take a bus or taxi to the hotel. The address of the hotel is Snarøyveien 20.
All exhibitors and sponsor participants must register with the Norwegian Local Radio Association on arrival. Registration takes place in connection with the hotel’s reception and is open all days.
Upon registration, sponsors and exhibitors are given a conference folder with practical information, a conference magazine and an access card. This badge must be carried by the participant throughout the conference, as it serves as an access token for the professional conference and certain meals, among other things. Included in the registration fee is a coffee pack and lunch for all days (thursday to saturday). Coffee and refreshments is served in the mingling area and inside the exhibitor hall, while lunch is served in the restaurant.
In the pocket where you find the access card, there are tickets for the conference dinner on Thursday and Friday as well as the gala dinner on Saturday, for the participants who have ordered this. The conference dinner is served in the hotel’s restaurant, while the gala dinner is held in conference room (See floor plan for location).
The exhibitor area can be found in the hotel’s conference area and is located in a separate hall (size approx. 100 square metres) at the end of the mingling area. Refreshments and coffee food will be served to the participants inside the sponsor hall. (See more detailed floor plan below)
The following 13 exhibitors will be represented at this year’s conference:
There are two sizes of exhibitor booths. Gold sponsors dispose 5 m2 (stands J – L), while silver sponsors have approx. 3 m2 (stands A – I) at their disposal. The standard delivery from the Norwegian Local Radio Association is 2 conference tables (1200mm/720mm/600mm), 2 chairs and white tablecloths. There is a power outlet at each stand and access to wireless internet. The stands will not be divided by exhibition walls and will be fully rigged as shown in the floor plan below. Extra meeting tables and chairs will be set out, so that you can provide yourself with this freely. There is good access to electricity in the exhibition area, but we encourage exhibitors to bring extra extension cords.
Setup and assembly
The exhibition area opens for set-up on Wednesday 13th of March from 18.00 until 21.00 and from 08.00 on Thursday 14th of March. We recommend that set-up is completed by the time the exhibitor area opens to the public. There will be no defined stand locations and we practice the first-come, first-served principle.
The Norwegian Local Radio Association provides a person who will be present on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning to assist with practical arrangements.
Opening hours for the exhibition hall
The venue opens to the public at 10.00 each day, Thursday to Saturday. This is one hour before the academic program starts in the two conference halls. It is up to each individual exhibitors to choose the time for staffing their own stand. The exhibition hall are closed and locked at 17.00 on Thursday and Friday and at 16.00 on Saturday.
Sponsor lounge
All exhibitors have access to their own relaxation area. You will find this directly to the right of the exhibition hall.
The exhibition hall will be locked outside normal opening hours, but no special guard will be organized in connection with the exhibition. The individual exhibitor must assess security against the value of the equipment. Expensive equipment can be locked up and stored in the Sponsors Lounge if desired.
Storage of equipment is the responsibility of the exhibitor and we would like to remind you that exhibitors themselves must arrange for any insurance that covers theft or damage.
If you need to send technical equipment, exhibition material or other things to the conference hotel, it is important that this is labeled correctly, so that the hotel’s goods reception understands what the shipment is about. The shipment must be clearly marked «Norsk Lokalradioforbunds landskonferanse 2024». The conference hotel will store your goods free of charge from reception until the start of the conference.
For any merchandise or technical samples that will be showed during the exhibition, the exhibitors need to clear customs in Norway with ATA Carnet, either by their own forwarder or that they get the carnet stamped at the customs area (red zone) at Oslo Airport. If the exhibitor sends their items with preferred freight forwarder – the goods need to be in Norway and Fornebu the 13th of March at latest.
A Carnet or ATA Carnet (pronounced kar-nay) is an international customs and temporary export-import document. It is used to clear customs in 87 countries and territories without paying duties and import taxes on merchandise that will be re-exported within 12 months. Carnets are also known as Merchandise Passports or Passports for Goods.
